Hey Y’all!

The Charmaine Show is a digital platform created for real stories, meaningful dialogue, and transformation. I launched The Charmaine Show during a season of deep transition and surviving sexual assault in the pandemic, when I realized that storytelling is not only powerful, but also healing, connective, and necessary. That truth continues to shape the heart of this work. I interview entrepreneurs, advocates, creatives, coaches, educators, and leaders who are each shifting culture in their own way.

"This is my command——be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you whereever you go." Joshua 1:9

Restored By Faith is my Story!

People often ask how my faith helps me heal from assault. I’m a total crybaby, and it’s ok, it’s through prayer and vulnerability that I let it all go. It is also the place where I gain wisdom on how to navigate the day-to-day hustle and bustle and interpersonal relationships. Prayer has been and will always be a form of self-care for me. This is my journey, when I’m angry, confused, and grieving, faith gives me the courage to cry out to God.

Through prayer, I allow His peace to restore me.

  • Healing is a journey and wholeness is the goal

This year, let's take intentional steps forward unapologetically. I still believe healing is a gradual journey, not a sprint. Take the time you need and prioritize what’s best for you. Three years later, here I am, no longer expecting my healing journey or anyone else’s to look picture-perfect, and that's growth! Forward.

  • Unveiling Truth, From Surviving to Thriving

In the midst of 2020, during the pandemic’s peak, I took a courageous step. I shared my story as a survivor of sexual assault with a simple, heartfelt Facebook post. That one act set me on an unexpected transformative journey where I discovered the power of truth and self-care. People often ask where I found the courage. Honestly, I felt God's presence, knowing I wasn't alone in carrying the truth. However that doesn't mean, it was easy. Despite the challenges, with the support of therapy, crisis hotlines, support groups, journaling, and a strong community, I managed to navigate through one of the most challenging seasons of my life with my heart intact, and for that I'm forever grateful.🙌🏾

Speaking out not only helped me heal but also extended healing to other survivors. Years later, I stand wiser, stronger, and committed to this journey of abundance and wholeness. Through this platform, I am honored to connect with incredible creatives and diverse women, spreading hope and celebrating the beauty of community and storytelling. Authentic conversations that highlight the stories of everyday women are my priority.

Here's to resilience, empowerment, and positive change through storytelling. Let's break the silence together and rewrite the narratives that tried to hold us back!

Meet Charmaine

I’m Charmaine Paige—host, writer, cultivator, and digital advocate.

By day, I’m a Labor Organizer using communication skills to empower workers to build collective power and use their voice to address concerns at their workplace. Creatively, I host The Charmaine Show, coach women, and create spaces where women’s stories don’t disappear—they multiply.

My work sits at the intersection of healing, creativity, and community-building. I’m a life coach, storyteller, and sexual assault advocate.

I’m an optimist, a listener, and a poet. I believe women’s stories are not side notes, and I refuse to disappear in my own advocacy. Through this platform, I highlight the stories of everyday women while staying fully visible in my own.
